Will Choate is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church, and founding pastor of Argenta UMC. He has a Bachelor’s in Business Finance from Arkansas State University, and a Master’s of Theology from Southern Methodist University. His passion is creating places for people to connect with God and one another so they might participate in the life of God here and now. For Will, the church has been the richest and most powerful manifestation of that life.

Will is married to Audra Choate and they have two children, Norah and Bo.

John Willis has served as worship music leader at Argenta since 2013. He heads up the worship team that leads singing each week, coordinates music for weekly and special services, and works to integrate the talents and interests of AUMC folks into the worship life of our community. When not behind the piano at Argenta, you can find John composing and performing around Little Rock, teaching piano and coaching voice, and teaching yoga, one of his other passions. 

Singing and worshiping together is one of the rare experiences of life where we can both give and receive simultaneously. This goes for the musically gifted and those who prefer to sit and listen alike. We seek to foster a worship environment that is vibrant, inclusive, authentic, and that harmonizes the best of traditional and new worship music.
